I had gone to my primary eye doctor for a routine follow up and he spotted an issue and referred me to Dr. Jonathan Feistmann. I was impressed by both his knowledge and patience. What was even more impressive to me was his willingness and ability to deal with me as a patient who was petrified of the eye doctor. To be candid I would have preferred to go the dentist and have my teeth pulled. I ended up having two eye surgeries a scleral buckle and a vitrectomy to repair a detached retainer. The Dr. provided me with his cell phone to call and text after hours. It is rare in today’s age to find a doctor who stills believes in providing personal attention. The best news is that he fixed my eye and has also cured my phobia of seeing eye doctors. I would highly recommend
