Very appreciative of everyone – Dr. Mei, the professional who took my retinal images, and the office/receptionist staff. They were all friendly, helpful, and empathetic.
NYC Retina originally scheduled me for a visit on Fri, Sept 13 at their Queens location. However, the wait was progressively driving me bananas – as you can imagine, sitting around waiting to see if you have a retinal tear (which can progress to retinal detachment) is disconcerting. Called this morning to ask if they had any earlier appointments, and they were able to schedule me for today. The office was clean and not busy during my visit – I’m wondering if they scheduled me during their lunch break, which is extremely kind of them!
Thank you – for the first time in a few days, I can breathe a sigh of relief! I’ll be back next year, but for a routine retinal exam! 🙂
